Young Thug was in his bag in “Slime Season 2.”

5. Big Racks (Ft. Lil Uzi Vert)
I feel like this song has some false advertising.
Lil Uzi Vert is featured on this track, but his part is smaller than Ice Cube’s on I Got The Hook Up. He starts the track off with a swagged-out intro that has him bragging about his diamonds. It definitely sets the tone. Thugger takes the baton, bragging about his racks and gats, sounding like a shooter, Kanye West when he’s unserious, and the Cheetos man. I do like how feverish his rap style sounds over the hard-hitting, dark trap beat.
4. I’ll Tell You What
Did this dude say he has girls that are draining everything from his planters?
Do you know what cracks me up about Young Thug? If you let him tell you, he will tell you he’s one of the biggest heart throbs of all time; even bigger than George Clooney. In “I’ll Tell You What,” he doubles down on this notion, bringing up how much women love him and how he’s down to do some nasty things with them if he has to. I love the unruly hook Thugger lays down, in addition to the booming production that has an unorthodox pace and how Thug finds most of his time throwing hefty, slow-paced flows at it.
3. Don’t Know (Ft. Shad Da God)
For those who miss the Rich Gang version of Young Thug, this track will remind you how great he was.
Remember the era when nearly every beat had that Jidenna “Classic Man” vibe? If you need a refresher, “Don’t Know” is here to jog your memory. On this track, Young Thug shines over a beat reminiscent of that sound, talking about pushing tops back, craving intimacy, and being unapologetically confident. What stands out is Thugger’s seamless flow paired with his off-the-wall, cartoonish personality, delivering a performance that’s as animated as it is captivating—something I wish we saw more of from him.
On the other hand, Shad da God wraps up the track with a standard, less memorable verse filled with brags about his gun and Xanax use. Despite that, the song as a whole is an enjoyable listen with its lively energy and playful vibe.
2. All Over (Ft. Metro Boomin)
Man, Young Thug should’ve tossed Travis Scott on this track.
I won’t lie: Metro Boomin and 808 Mafia absolutely carried this track. The instrumental they crafted for Young Thug has an intricate, almost mad-scientist vibe that’s nothing short of phenomenal. While Thug’s verses don’t quite hit the mark for me (he sounds a bit too tipsy, especially with those random Jamaican accents), the chorus he delivers is undeniably elite. In summary, this track is all about the stellar production and the top-tier chorus—those are the real highlights here.
1. Thief In The Night (Ft. Trouble)
Young Thug and Trouble both put up 20-point double-doubles in this track.
In “Thief In The Night,” Young Thug and Trouble deliver a back-and-forth performance full of slick talk, boasting about the violence they’re ready to unleash and their smooth moves with women. They also flex about their wealth, claiming their pockets are bigger than Dave Blunts. The dynamic between the two over the dark, bass-heavy trap beat is impressive, especially with their somewhat emotional vocal delivery and rapid-fire flows.

Young Thug embodies the true essence of being radical, breaking away from conventional music norms and creating with an untamed, boundary-pushing energy. In Slime Season 2, he takes this fearless approach to an entirely new level, delivering a project that’s unpredictable, innovative, and unapologetically unique.
