Hurricane Wisdom & Polo G Connect For “Giannis Remix”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

What are the chances Giannis would ever listen to this track?

The only rapper I knew with “Hurricane” in his name was Hurricane Chris. Remember him? He’s the guy who gave us “Halle Berry.” But apparently, there’s another Hurricane to watch—Hurricane Wisdom. Hailing from Tallahassee, Florida, he’s been making waves with a few tracks, but his breakout moment came with “Giannis.”

Today, a remix of “Giannis” dropped on streaming platforms, and to my surprise, Polo G decided to jump on the track.

“Giannis” gives off vibes reminiscent of “Pink Dreads” by DDG and PlaqueBoyMax. Over a sly beat that masterfully blends old-school and new-school elements, Hurricane Wisdom and Polo G trade verses about their firepower, romantic escapades, and daily demands. Wisdom leans into his slurred, laid-back delivery, while Polo G brings his signature emotional depth to the track. Both artists flow seamlessly over the dynamic production.

Wake me up when someone dedicates a track to New Orleans Pelicans legend Yves Missi.
