Is There a SZA and Kendrick Lamar Joint Album in Our Future? What SZA Has to Say About It

Kendrick Lamar and SZA have developed a growing list of viral collaborations.

Kendrick’s GNX album, released last November, featured not one but two appearances from SZA. The pair delivered the chart-topping hit “luther,” and “gloria,” a mellow track with darker undertones that explore the complexities of love.

Shortly after GNX’s release, news broke that SZA and Kendrick would be touring together this year. This announcement was followed by the release of SOS Deluxe: LANA, which included the Kendrick-featuring track “30 for 30.” With these collaborations, the tour, and their undeniable vocal chemistry, fans quickly took to the internet to speculate whether the duo might drop a collaborative album, much like Silk Sonic did.

I think that would be amazing.” She further explained what working with Kendrick is like, calling him a genius and stating that he is part of her ‘fumble and finding era’. With these two collaborating, I don’t see fumbles happening anytime soon.
