More importantly, I love how much fun the band sounds like it has while making music. There is also passion, soul, and skill—the perfect combination. On their 2025 single “Lot To Learn,” which continues gaining traction, Winyah deliver an indie-rock masterpiece.

The instrumental blooms. It begins with kick-ass guitar licks before transforming into something faster and more explosive without sacrificing its gentle heart. As the tempo intensifies, the guitars become meaner, the drums feel more urgent, and the track threatens to escape through the speakers.

Winyah’s lead singer matches that progression with a vocal performance that sounds zany, free, and intoxicating. He describes the euphoria of being around the one person who makes him feel more alive than ever. The longer the song runs, the more wonderfully chaotic the music becomes and the fierier his vocals sound.

Eventually, “Lot To Learn” transforms into a furniture-moving, guitar-smashing, sweat-producing anthem. It is the kind of track you should replay whenever you feel groggy or emotionally flat. I love this joint, and after one spin, there is a chance you will too.
