Ray Vaughn Fires Back at Joey Bada$$, Tory Lanez, Mal, and More with Diss Track “Crashout Heritage”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Ray Vaughn went nuclear here.

For those of us who lived through the East Coast vs. West Coast beef in the ’90s, you should feel a little nervous right now. After Joey Bada$$ decided to drop a diss record called “The Ruler’s Back,” which took aim at Kendrick Lamar and the West Coast, some of the West’s finest have decided to respond. One of the notable people that responded was Ray Vaughn.

Today, the TDE rapper dropped a new single called “Crashout Heritage.” In the track, he takes aim at Tory Lanez, Mal from the Rory and Mal podcast, and, of course, Joey Bada$$.

The shots fly fast and furious in “Crashout Heritage,” as Ray Vaughn, over Kendrick Lamar’s smooth “heart pt. 6” beat, takes aim at Joey Bada$$ claiming he’s not bigger than Boosie Bada$$, blasts Tory Lanez for his jail verses, and warns Mal that he’s not ready for the smoke he’s ready to bring his way.

Ray comes through on the track with an unrelenting flow, packed with vivid punchlines and fierce aggression in his verses as if he’s stepping into the ring ready to fight. S**t is a sight to hear.
