YFN Lucci will be coming home very soon.

The hip-hop world often feels like a revolving door, with rappers frequently going in and out of jail. Recently, figures like Tory Lanez, Diddy, and Lil Durk have made headlines for their legal troubles, while fans have been able to celebrate the releases of artists like Young Thug, Rio Da Yung OG, and Rowdy Rebel. Another rapper who will soon be joining the ranks of those freed is YFN Lucci.

YFN Lucci, whose real name is Rayshawn Lamar Bennett, was arrested in 2021 in connection to a murder charge. He faced official charges of felony murder, aggravated assault, and participation in a criminal street gang. Denied bond multiple times, Lucci has spent the past three years behind bars, but his release is now on the horizon.

YFN Lucci’s most recent music release was Wish Me Well 3. The album features standout tracks like “Both Of Us,” “Wet (She Got That…),” and “Dope Game,” with notable guest appearances from artists such as Jeezy, Yo Gotti, Latto, and Yungeen Ace. His catalog consists of seven total album releases.
