Why Central Cee Didn’t Feature Drake on “Can’t Rush Greatness”

The internet has been raving about Central Cee’s newest release.

On January 17th, Central Cee dropped his highly anticipated third studio album, CAN’T RUSH GREATNESS. The album has performed exceptionally well since its debut and is projected to land near the top of the Billboard charts next week. With hard-hitting tracks and high-profile features from artists like 21 Savage, Dave, Skepta, and Lil Durk, its success comes as no surprise.

Rap fans and hip-hop enthusiasts have taken to social media to celebrate the album’s release, but many have pointed out the absence of one key artist—Drake.

Central Cee and Drake share a close bond and have collaborated in the past, leading many fans to believe they had something planned for CAN’T RUSH GREATNESS. In a recent interview with FunX, Central Cee revealed that he and Drake do, in fact, have a finished song together—but he deliberately chose to exclude it from the album.

Central Cee says he and Drake have something in the vault.

When asked about his decision, the rapper explained that including a Drake feature felt “too predictable.” He added that he dislikes when fans can easily guess these kinds of collaborations, so he decided to hold onto the track for now.

Regardless of the missing feature, Central Cee continues to make major moves. He is set to embark on his “CAN’T RUSH GREATNESS” world tour, kicking off on April 1st in Norway and concluding on July 2nd in Australia. General ticket sales begin tomorrow, January 31st, at 10 AM local time.
