Tommy Richman Returns With “ACTIN UP”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Between this track and GELO’s “Tweaker,” it feels like 2000 all over again!

Tommy Richman is back and making noise again. After his meteoric rise with “MILLION DOLLAR BABY” and the slept-on COYOTE album, it seemed like he lost a bit of momentum—especially after controversially claiming he isn’t a hip-hop artist. But with “ACTIN UP,” he’s back in his bag.

This track absolutely slaps. The production, which has a prime Soulja Boy-like bounce, brings a wave of nostalgia while still feeling fresh. Over it, Tommy flexes with punchy vocals and confident energy, making it clear he sees himself as a big dog now. The chorus? A perfect mix of infectious and gangsta—it sticks with you long after the song ends.

Bottom line: “ACTIN UP” is a banger. If this is a sign of what’s next for Tommy, he’s about to reclaim his spot in a significant way.
