DDG & Karrahboo Link Up For “Easing Up”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

What the hell is happening in the photo up top?

One could argue that DDG is having just as good a year as anyone else. Not only did he release one of the potential song-of-the-year contenders in “Pink Dreads,” but he’s also dropped a bunch of solid singles lately. That said, if he can turn Uber driver Karrahboo into a superstar, I’d be ready to crown his ass. Recently, DDG and Karrahboo linked up for a new collaboration single titled “Easin Up.”

In “Easin Up,” DDG and Karrahboo trade verses about living life in the fast lane, dismissing fake people, enjoying their wealth, and avoiding pills. The track is driven by a dark, sly beat that’s perfect for sliding. Their rapping style is laid-back and mumbly, which I enjoy, though I understand why some might not. Overall, it’s a solid effort.

Y’all are hating on DDG way too much.
