Lil Nas X just dropped his newest single “HOTBOX,” and it is serving. The song is campy and fun, packed with hilarious, to-the-point lines and cheeky bars. The rapper talks about going out, flirting with guys and bringing them home and all of the fun things that come with that. He hypes himself up and flexes on his haters, and the level of sass and pettiness that shines through the song while he is talking about his different rendezvous with beautiful men is very amusing.
The track is upbeat and very pop forward. It is bubbly and lighthearted, making this an easy song to catch yourself nodding along to. I found myself singing along to the chorus and wishing my girls were with me to join in. “HOTBOX” is the perfect track to add to the dirty, flirty playlist you play when someone lets you connect to their car’s radio.
