It’s the remix, y’all.
If you are anything like me, I know what you are (probably) thinking: Didn’t Dua Lipa release “Physical” 5 years ago? The short answer is yes, she did, but she’s back with the remix.
The 2025 “Physical” remix was dropped on March 28th. The track has an edgy, darker tone to go with the intense pop beat. Troye Sivan’s soft, smooth voice pairs really well with Dua Lipa’s rich, soulful register, and the two bounce off each other effortlessly.
Overall, the song feels high-energy and would be a great track for a workout playlist. It has sultry, sensual vibes without being overly sexual or inappropriate. This is a song I could see playing at the gym, in the mall, at a party, or in my car. It is versatile and good for many different moods.
