Rich Brian & Ski Mask The Slump God – Jumpy (Review)

Rich Brian and Ski Mask The Slump God are cut from the same anti-social cloth.

If you’ve been keeping tabs on Rich Brian lately, you’ll know he’s been steadily dropping singles in preparation for his upcoming album Where Is My Head? While he’s been experimenting with a range of genres, his latest release, “Jumpy” featuring Ski Mask The Slump God, is a straight-up return to his hip-hop roots—and it slaps.

Driven by a hypnotic, Neptunes-esque beat, “Jumpy” feels like a throwback to early-2000s rap with a modern, chaotic twist. The production is quirky, off-kilter, and undeniably infectious—perfect for two MCs who specialize in bending flows and flexing lyrical muscle.

Rich Brian and Ski Mask go bar-for-bar with charismatic performances that highlight both their chemistry and individual strengths. Brian sounds sharp and energized, rapping about his growing fame, resilience, and readiness to take on anyone. Meanwhile, Ski Mask steals the spotlight with his eccentric delivery, witty punchlines, and full-throttle confidence—his signature style cutting through the beat like a machete.

This is the Rich Chigga I grew to love.
