Gucci Mane Releases “Voices” & “Psycho”

What the hell did we do to deserve two new Gucci Mane songs?

Can you believe we got two new Gucci Mane tracks this past weekend? That’s right—Zone 6’s finest returned with “Voices” and “Psycho.” And judging by the tone and polish, these tracks feel like the beginning of something bigger, possibly a new album on the horizon.

In “Voices,” Gucci puts on his horror movie hat. Unlike Amityville, the voices in his head aren’t urging chaos—they’re pushing him toward luxury, self-preservation, and pleasure. It’s peak flex rap: Gucci takes pride in not liking the same things as the masses, and the beat is bass-heavy enough to rattle your trunk clean off. The hook has a gimmicky feel, but that’s part of its charm.

Then there’s “Psycho,” which brings out carefree, menacing Gucci. He raps over a hard-hitting beat with wild abandon—speaking on his time in jail, how he rocks a Givenchy straitjacket these days, and how his mental state is wackier than Tyrese Haliburton’s shooting form. Between the hilarious bars, self-aware braggadocio, and catchy chorus, this is the kind of track that longtime Gucci fans will appreciate deeply. It’s that Evil Genius energy, but with even less restraint.

B*tch, it’s too hot outside to be listening to Gucci Mane’s music.
