Russ Scores Another Win as “W!LD” Cracks the Top 10 on U.S. Albums Chart

Russ’s independent grind continues to pay off.

According to the latest U.S. albums chart preview from @HITSDD, Morgan Wallen continues his red-hot 2025 run as I Am The Problem locks in the No. 1 spot for the seventh consecutive week—moving a staggering 172,000 units.

Coming in strong at No. 2 is Lorde, who marks her return to the charts with Virgin, her first full-length release in years. The album moves an impressive 63,000 units, reminding everyone why she remains one of pop’s most compelling figures.

Global music continues to make its mark, with KPop Demon Hunters (Soundtrack) (48K) and KATSEYE’s BEAUTIFUL CHAOS (40K) both cracking the top five. Latin superstar Karol G also earns a top spot with Tropicoquetta (40K), proving her crossover appeal remains as potent as ever.

On the R&B side, SZA’s SOS continues to show staying power, pulling in another 39,000 units. Morgan Wallen also makes a second appearance in the top 10 with One Thing At A Time (37K), showcasing rare dual-album chart success.

Rounding out the top 10 are some big names from hip-hop and pop. Playboi Carti’s enigmatic MUSIC pulls in 34K, while Sabrina Carpenter’s bubbly Short n Sweet lands with 32K.

But the most impressive chart feat might belong to Russ. His independently released project, W!LD, officially breaks into the Billboard top 10, selling 31,000 units. In an industry where major label backing often dictates visibility, Russ once again proves that independence can still thrive with the right blend of consistency, creativity, and fan loyalty.

Russ gets to keep most of the dollars this album makes. Let that settle in.
