Logic Unleashes Alter Ego on Bizarre Yet Banging Track “The Adventures of Cocaine Larry”

This negro Logic done lost his cot damn mind.

Logic is clearly in his experimental bag in 2025. From embracing psychedelic Playboi Carti aesthetics to dropping a surprise collab tape with Juicy J—and even prepping to release a full-length film—the Maryland rapper is giving fans the most creatively unpredictable version of himself. Today, he adds another curveball to the mix with his latest single, “The Adventures of Cocaine Larry.”

True to form, the track is built on a classic boom-bap foundation, complete with dusty drums and a hypnotic groove that feels like vintage Logic. But where things get strange—in a good way—is in the storytelling. Logic raps from the perspective of “Cocaine Larry,” a wild, drug-fueled antihero with bulging biceps, a self-destructive streak, and a violent edge. His flows are mechanical and slithery, but his delivery is clearly meant to sound unhinged and cartoonish, adding another layer to the offbeat narrative. While the song is undeniably bizarre, it’s also oddly compelling. S**t, can Logic be Cocaine Larry more?

Logic cleary doesn’t give a f**k anymore. I like that for him.
