Hanumankind Announces New Mixtape Monsoon Season, Dropping July 25

I’m a huge Hanumankind fan.

Kerala-born and Houston-raised rapper Hanumankind is officially ushering in a new era with his upcoming mixtape, Monsoon Season, set to release July 25 on Capitol Records/Universal Music India. The announcement came with a cinematic, moody trailer that teases the project’s tone and scope, setting fans up for what looks to be Hanumankind’s most defining body of work to date. Watch the trailer here.

To build anticipation, Hanumankind dropped “Villainous,” a polished studio version of his viral On The Radar freestyle, which will appear on the mixtape. The project will also include his breakout single “Big Dawgs,” its high-powered remix featuring A$AP Rocky, the infectious “Run It Up,” the introspective “Holiday,” and never-before-heard collaborations with Denzel Curry on “Reckless” and Maxo Kream on “Goons.” Additional features include Roisee and Rudy Mukta, giving the project a global, genre-fluid feel while staying rooted in raw lyricism and energy.

According to Hanumankind’s team, Monsoon Season is a collection of tracks forged “in the quiet”—written before the co-signs, the buzz, and the sold-out shows. It’s a document of resilience, crafted in obscurity and now set to be shared with the world. And the momentum is only building. Hanumankind is currently on his debut European headline tour, performing in packed venues across cities like Amsterdam, Paris, and Berlin, with a major stop at London’s Village Underground on July 15.
