1. Recognize (Ft. Jessy Blakemore)

Russ gets his “Runaway Love” on in this track.

In “Recognize,” Russ explores the complications of a relationship where emotions run high and fulfillment feels out of reach. On one side, the woman feels neglected and unappreciated by her partner. On the other, Russ sheds light on the man’s perspective, pointing out that his needs—especially intimacy—aren’t being met either. The catch? Neither one of them is willing to walk away, leaving the relationship caught in a cycle of frustration.

The production matches the mood perfectly, blending sunny tones with a subtle melancholic undercurrent that captures the loneliness of the situation. Featured guest Jessy Blakemore adds hauntingly beautiful vocals that elevate the track’s emotional weight.

As for Russ, he delivers his verses with punch and precision, balancing sharp rap flows with raw storytelling. He manages to highlight the frustrations on both sides without losing sight of the vulnerability at the core of the song.
