Travis Scott’s “ASTROWORLD” Surpasses 1 Billion Spotify Streams in 2025

ASTROWORLD is one of those albums that will never get old.

Seven years after release, ASTROWORLD is still racking up streams like it just dropped yesterday. Travis Scott’s landmark album has now crossed 1 billion Spotify streams in 2025, making it the only rap project to hit the billion-stream mark in each of the past seven years. The milestone cements its status as a modern rap classic and underscores Scott’s ability to keep fans locked in long after the initial hype.

Scott now joins Kendrick Lamar as the only rappers with multiple albums surpassing a billion streams on Spotify this year—Kendrick with GNX and DAMN., Scott with UTOPIA and ASTROWORLD. The star-studded 2018 project, featuring Drake, The Weeknd, and the late Juice WRLD, sold over 537,000 units in its first week, thanks in part to merch bundles.

“SICKO MODE” remains the album’s streaming titan with 2.5 billion plays, followed by “BUTTERFLY EFFECT” at more than 1.7 billion. “CAN’T SAY” and “STARGAZING” have each cleared 800 million.

With ASTROWORLD still pulling massive numbers alongside the success of UTOPIA and Rodeo, I think it’s safe to say that Travis has all the clout he needs to retire. We hope he doesn’t, though.
