Jaden Smith Drops Surreal New EP “2025: A Surrealist Ball or Elephants Reflecting Swans”

Jaden returns with a three-track EP blending unique raps, experimental beats, and club-ready vibes, proving he still has “it.”

Jaden continues to remind us why he’s a name worth watching with his new EP, 2025: A Surrealist Ball or Elephants Reflecting Swans (What a weird title). While the past few years haven’t seen him linking up with high-profile collaborators like Young Thug, Childish Gambino, or Post Malone, his talent is still undeniable. With this project, featuring an astute title, Jaden shows he still has “it.”

This follows his 2024 release, 2024: A Case Study of the Long Term Effects of Young Love, which featured four tracks. The new EP includes “RED CLOAKS” with Rich The Kid, pairing a haunting hip-hop beat with Jaden’s understated yet cool delivery and Rich’s usual finesse-heavy bars.

“Nocturne Ferrières” swings in a completely different direction—a hypnotic dance track with a rhythm that’s likely to hit even harder under the influence of Molly. And “Mask Never Slips” brings bouncy club energy, with Jaden radiating that “cooler than a cucumber” confidence, even if some of his lyrics get lost in the production.

All in all, Jaden swings for the fences with this EP. Whether he fully lands or not is up for debate, but the project proves he’s still a creative force willing to experiment and push his sound forward.
