Leon Thomas PHOLKS

Leon Thomas just announced his brand-new project PHOLKS, set to drop on October 24th, and I know I’ll be first in line to press play.

2025 has been a breakout year for Leon Thomas, and the momentum isn’t slowing down anytime soon. With his viral hit “MUTT” and its endless remixes taking over TikTok and Reels, Thomas has quickly become an artist people are paying very close attention to. The announcement of his upcoming project PHOLKS only adds to the buzz, and fans are already circling the date on their calendars.

For those who’ve been following his journey, Leon’s music is a blend of raw honesty, slick production, and smooth R&B delivery. Tracks like “YES IT IS” and “VIBES DON’T LIE” off the MUTT album showcased his versatility, while his collab with Halle, “Rather Be Alone,” gave us a hauntingly beautiful look at complicated love. It’s clear Thomas isn’t afraid to experiment with sound while keeping his storytelling front and center.

As someone who grew up watching him as a Nickelodeon star, it’s inspiring to see him evolve into one of the most exciting voices in R&B right now. PHOLKS feels like the next chapter in what’s already shaping up to be a massive year for him — and October 24th can’t come fast enough.
