It looks like ian DOES NOT desire to be a country artist like some other white rappers we know…
ian is officially gearing up for the release of his next album, TAPE 3, arriving October 24th. The rapper recently dropped a quick teaser trailer on social media, walking through tall grass like a full-blown cowboy, tapping into his countryside with a guitar in hand. By the end of the teaser, he snaps back to reality, reminding us that while he can flirt with twang, his heart still beats for hip-hop.
Over the past few years, ian’s name has popped up all across the hip-hop scene, building a steady reputation as one of the most unpredictable artists out. From melodic verses to high-octane flows, he’s shown that he’s comfortable experimenting with different styles while keeping his signature grit intact.
That said, 2025 has been relatively quiet for the rising star. Aside from a few collaborations and solo drops, ian has kept fans waiting since his 2024 release Goodbye Horses, which featured standout tracks like “Hate Me” with Lil Yachty and “3.5” — the latter surpassing 100 million views.
With TAPE 3 on the way, the big question now is: will ian ride off into the sunset as a cowboy, or come storming back as one of hip-hop’s fiercest voices?
