At this point, Taylor Swift isn’t just breaking records — she’s rewriting music history one album at a time.
Taylor Swift now officially holds the top five best-selling albums of the 2020s decade in the U.S. (in pure sales). Each of these albums has sold over 2 million copies — and no other artist this decade has even come close to hitting that milestone once.
The albums making up this legendary lineup are Lover, The Tortured Poets Department, Midnights, The Life of a Showgirl, and Folklore. Every single one of these projects represents a different era of Taylor — from her dreamy pop beginnings to her indie-folk storytelling and her cinematic new sound.
Taylor is breaking everyone’s records — including her own. Her consistency, creativity, and emotional connection with fans are what make these achievements feel inevitable at this point. If this isn’t legendary behavior, I don’t know what is.
