Kehlani Releases “Out The Window”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Kehlani’s latest single, “Out The Window,” slows things down and dives deep into emotional territory.

This R&B track is beautifully stripped back, allowing her voice to take center stage—and what a voice it is. Kehlani sounds like pure silk here: smooth, creamy, and full of warmth. You can feel every ounce of emotion in her delivery, from the regret to the hope still flickering underneath it all.

Lyrically, “Out The Window” is about fighting for someone you love after realizing you were the one who fell short. Kehlani admits her flaws and takes accountability, but also expresses her desire to do better—to rebuild and love more intentionally. The vulnerability in her voice makes each line hit that much harder.

Her runs are effortless, her tone is honest, and the song gives that deep, pleading ache that lingers long after it ends. It’s open, emotional, and beautifully human—another reminder that Kehlani’s storytelling cuts straight to the heart.
