Recent Platinum Certifications (11/17/25): Gelo, Lady Gaga, and Cardi B

Congratulations to Cardi B, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Summer Walker, and GELO.

GELO’s single “Tweaker” has officially been certified Platinum by the RIAA, marking a major milestone for the artist. Released in the first week of the year, the track quickly became one of the first viral hits of 2025.

This year has also seen several other impressive certifications. Cardi B’s album AM I THE DRAMA? earned 3× Platinum status in the US, selling over 3,000,000 units, while Summer Walker’s hit “Girls Need Love,” originally released in 2018, is now certified 9× Platinum with 9,000,000 units sold. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ collaboration “Die With A Smile” has surpassed 8,000,000 units in the US, and Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo’s Wicked has now sold over 1,000,000 total units.

These milestones highlight a broader trend in 2025: music fans are consuming both modern hits and classic tracks with equal enthusiasm. The continued rise in certifications confirms that listeners are embracing a diverse range of music like never before.
