Curren$y kicks off 2026 with the effortlessly smooth “Everywhere You Look.”

TOP 5 TRACKS
5. Eye Of The Storm
Curren$y basically says screw anyone who isn’t putting the work in (Including Deandre Ayton). The track captures him at his most carefree, gliding over production that’s slicker than Denver’s weather was this past Sunday, which had Drake Maye looking like a pee-wee football player.
4. 2Easy 2Ounces (Ft. Wiz Khalifa)
It feels like Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa are about 73–9 whenever they link up on a track. Even if this isn’t one of their strongest collaborations, it still delivers exactly what you expect: sophisticated production, plenty of weed talk, and two very different styles that somehow fit perfectly together.
3. Cinema Drugs
In an album packed with strong production, I honestly think “Cinema Drugs” has the best beat. The bass hits just right, the cinematic touches elevate it, and the tempo keeps everything locked in. I also like that Curren$y takes it seriously, bringing out some of his most assertive, almost snarky raps (the fact I used the word snarky here should tell you he means business).
2. Chains on top of Chains
A dedication track to 2 Chainz? HYFR. It’s smooth, too—riding an old-school, extra-gentle instrumental that Chainz could easily blurt some wild s**t on (Some s**t like “I have two chicks on the same Verizon plan!”). Curren$y locks in perfectly, reflecting on his relationship with the rapper while keeping it playa at all times.
1. Lose Them
Hold up—did the sane version of Kanye West produce this track? Of course not, but it definitely has that vibe (I’ve always loved Kanye’s old beats). I also love how Curren$y raps about his work ethic, mixing both legal and illegal grind, reminding people that DeVry isn’t the only way to turn your life around and stack mula.

RGM GRADE

I’ll be real with you: I had to fall back on reviewing Curren$y’s projects because the man is dropping so much music, it’s actually hard as hell to keep grading the same vibe over and over (and trust me, I’m in the same boat with NBA YoungBoy’s catalog).
That said, Everywhere You Look reminded me exactly why Curren$y is one-of-one and always worth the listen. Even with a slightly slothful tone, he does what he does best at an elite level. Curren$y flows effortlessly, digging into the beats, dropping low-key wisdom on how to hustle right, relish women who are feeling the wave, and stunt on dem wh*res! His rapping is solid across the board.
The production, though? The best thing about this project. They are slick, timeless-sounding, hard-hitting, and straight-up playa. Every beat feels intentional, from the slower, atmospheric tracks to the more upbeat moments that pull you right in.
I want to call Everywhere You Look his best project yet, but with the sheer volume of quality drops in his catalog, that’s impossible to say. What I can say is this: This s**t is worth the listen.
