The project arrives on November 28th.

Just a few days after being released from prison following a 16-year sentence (originally a 75-year term for his involvement in a fatal armed robbery), the Harlem legend is wasting no time stepping into his next chapter. Today, he’s announced a brand-new project: PUBLIC DOMAIN 7: THE FIRST PURGE (PATIENT ZERO), dropping November 28th.

Since touching down, Max has been reconnecting with familiar faces and old collaborators. He’s already linked up with French Montana, popped out at Jets games, and made appearances at clubs — all reminders of how much his presence was missed.

But longtime fans know Max never fully stepped away from the music. Even while behind bars, he kept the wave alive through releases like Negro Spirituals, Wave Pack, and multiple Library of a Legend volumes. His last project before his incarceration was the fan-favorite Coke Wave.

Patient Zero is back — and the wave is rising again.
