Who’s running hip-hop on Spotify right now?

As November comes to a close, Spotify’s monthly listener numbers offer a clear snapshot of who’s truly commanding the rap world right now. Leading the pack is Drake, holding a dominant 81.1 million listeners. Evergreen hits like “One Dance,” “Headlines,” and “Passionfruit” continue to anchor his massive streaming presence.

Right behind him is Eminem with 72.0 million monthly listeners. Even decades removed from his early-2000s peak, Em’s catalog has found new life with younger audiences, with tracks like “Without Me” and “Love The Way You Lie” continuing to perform well. Close on his heels is Kendrick Lamar at 70.9 million, boosted by standout GNX tracks like “luther” and “tv now,” as well as sustained momentum from his blockbuster diss record “Not Like Us.”

The middle of the top tier highlights a compelling blend of legacy and current relevance. Kanye West sits at 65.9 million, thanks in part to the enduring popularity of Graduation. Meanwhile, Travis Scott (59.9m) and Doja Cat (59.8m) maintain their tight grip on digital culture—Travis riding the continued replay value of ASTROWORLD, and Doja fueled by long-running smashes like “Kiss Me More” and “Woman.”

The next cluster showcases a mix of icons and high-frequency hitmakers. Future leads this tier with 51.0 million, driven by the staying power of “TOO MANY NIGHTS” and “WAIT FOR U.” Lil Wayne (47.8m) and Tyler, The Creator (46.6m) reflect the power of reinvention—Wayne through staples like “LOVE ME” and “She Will,” and Tyler through his creative leaps on CHROMAKOPIA and Don’t Tap The Glass. Rounding out this group are Playboi Carti (46.4m)—with MUSIC and “Timeless” still thriving—and Nicki Minaj (46.0m), buoyed by the enduring success of classics like “Starships” and “Super Bass.”
