Stray Kids Make Music History as ‘DO IT’ Debuts at #1

A record-breaking week on the Billboard 200 sees Stray Kids extend their domination, Wicked soar, and major albums roar back into the Top 10.

This week’s Billboard 200 delivered one of the most explosive shakeups of the year, led by Stray Kids, who debut at No. 1 with DO IT, moving a massive 295,000 units—powered by 13.98 million streams and a staggering 286,000 pure sales. With this, Stray Kids become the first act in history to debut their first eight charting albums at No. 1, extending their lead as the group with the most No. 1 albums this century.

Debuting at No. 2 is Wicked: For Good by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, pulling in 122,000 units. The release ties the original Wicked soundtrack for the highest debut ever for a theatrical stage musical adaptation. Not far behind, Taylor Swift’s The Life of A Showgirl holds firm at No. 3 with another 86,000 units, pushing the album past 5 million total.

KPop Demon Hunters continues its remarkable run, landing at No. 5 with 67,000 units and over 2.1 million total since release. Meanwhile, Tate McRae rockets back into the Top 10 at No. 6 as So Close to What triples its sales following its deluxe edition.

The lower ranks of the Top 10 also heat up: Olivia Dean remains steady at No. 7, Hazbin Hotel: Season Two jumps to a new peak at No. 8, and Aerosmith teams with YUNGBLUD for One More Time, debuting at No. 9. The release marks Aerosmith’s sixth decade earning a Top 10 album—an achievement matched by only one other group.
