Fresh off his release, Max B launches a new era with French Montana and multiple upcoming projects.
Max B is officially back in motion, and he’s wasting no time reclaiming his place in the culture.
As a crowded release weekend unfolds, French Montana and Max B have announced a new joint mixtape titled MAKE AMERICA WAVY AGAIN (MAWA), arriving this Friday.
For fans of The Wave, this moment carries a decade’s worth of anticipation.
Max B spent more than ten years behind bars after being convicted on charges related to conspiracy to commit armed robbery and kidnapping, resulting in a lengthy prison sentence before he was released.
During those years, French Montana publicly stood by him, championing his sound, influence, and legacy even when Max couldn’t speak for himself. So it feels poetic — almost destined — that Max’s first major release since returning home is a full-circle collaboration with the partner who never stopped waving the flag.
But this isn’t a one-off triumphant return. Max B is gearing up for a run. Alongside MAWA, he has two more projects on deck: Public Domain 7: The First Purge (Patient Zero) and another joint effort with French Montana titled Coke Wave Narcos 3.5, arriving early next year. He’s already warmed up the streets with his recent single “No More Tricks,” signaling that he’s not easing back in — he’s sprinting.
Max B was released from jail and went straight to work. What’s your excuse for sitting on your ass, Brodie?
