Hot take or not, Russ is easily one of my favorite rappers because he always feels real—he pours everything he’s feeling straight through the speakers, and it hits in a way that feels almost personal. This track is no different.
“Do You Feel the Same” dives into that intense, overwhelming feeling of falling for someone headfirst—so fast that you realize you’re already in too deep. He reflects on the small, everyday things that remind him of this person: places, routines, random memories. Those little sparks of familiarity leave him wondering if they’re thinking of him too, or if the connection is one-sided.
The song is sweet, sincere, and quietly vulnerable. Russ balances hesitation with hope, creating a heartfelt moment that pulls you into your own thoughts and feelings right along with him. His delivery is soft but impactful, and the production keeps things warm and introspective, making the track easy to replay again and again.
It’s another emotional gem from Russ, and absolutely worth a listen.
