From new releases to timeless classics, rap’s streaming power remains undeniable.
This week’s highest-selling rap albums prove just how wide hip-hop’s commercial range has become. Leading the pack is 21 Savage with WHAT HAPPENED TO THE STREETS?, pulling in 90,000 units after midweek projections initially had it closer to 50k. While it’s not our favorite project from him, 21 has reached a point where nearly anything he drops is guaranteed major rotation.
Right behind him is Drake’s Take Care with 24,000 units, continuing its seemingly endless run on the charts. Cardi B follows closely with Am I The Drama?, selling 23,000 units thanks to a rollout that let the music speak for itself.
Further down the list, Lil Baby’s The Leaks and Nas & DJ Premier’s Light Years both land at 21,000 units. Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar’s GNX continues its quiet longevity.
Overall, this week reflects hip-hop’s balance between legacy acts, consistent hitmakers, and new releases, all coexisting comfortably on the charts. Read the top 20 below.
