I expect NBA YoungBoy to release at least 10 albums this year.
NBA YoungBoy’s work ethic has never been in question. Few artists in modern rap operate with the same relentless pace, consistently feeding their audience regardless of industry trends or personal setbacks. When he’s free to move, YoungBoy floods the market with music, treating long gaps like foreign concepts.
In 2025 alone, YoungBoy dropped two full projects: Make America Slime Again (MASA) and the mixtape DESHAWN. While there was also More Leaks, it landed more as a side note than a defining chapter, especially compared to the officially rolled-out projects that carried clear intent.
Originally slated for a November 28 release last year, SLIME CRY became one of those albums that lived in limbo. Delays stacked up, anticipation simmered, and speculation followed, a familiar pattern for YoungBoy releases that seem to exist on their own timeline. Now, with the album officially set to hit streaming platforms this Friday, the wait finally ends. The title alone suggests emotional weight, vulnerability, and the kind of confessional tone YoungBoy leans into best.
SLIME CRY could be the opening chapter of a massive 2026 run for YoungBoy. Let’s see how this unfolds.
