HIRIE and The Movement’s “All Is Ok” Proves Peace Can Still Exist

Rating: 5 out of 5.

HIRIE and The Movement unite for an easygoing reggae-pop collaboration built on reassurance, warmth, and real-life perspective.

There’s nothing better in music than two artists locking in and making something that just feels right. That’s exactly what happens on “All Is Ok,” the new collaboration between HIRIE and The Movement.

The Movement, the Columbia, South Carolina-based band that’s been holding down the alternative reggae lane since 2003, brings their signature laid-back groove and sun-soaked instrumentation. HIRIE, a Hawaiian singer-songwriter with a pop sensibility and an effortlessly warm voice, slides right into that pocket like she’s been there the whole time. The chemistry feels natural, not manufactured.

“All Is Ok” is mellow, breezy, and incredibly soothing. The production floats instead of punches, creating space for HIRIE’s carefree yet emotionally grounded vocal performance. Lyrically, the track hits harder than you might expect. It speaks to staying okay even when life isn’t, and to finding peace in the middle of stress, doubt, and everyday chaos.

All in all, this is the kind of song you throw on during a drive, a reset moment, or when you just need to unclench your shoulders. The track is addictive in the best way.
