Drake Becomes First Artist With 300 Songs Over 100 Million Streams

Seventeen years of consistency turns into an untouchable Spotify milestone.

Drake is now the first artist in history to have 300 songs each surpass 100 million streams on Spotify.

Like, what? Isn’t there Taylor Swift out there? Isn’t there Bad Bunny? Drake has topped all of them. While people are going to claim he has bots and that his streams are artificial, at the end of the day, it makes perfect sense.

First off, Drake’s prime has been literally groundbreaking. Since 2009, people have cared about what he has done, from So Far Gone all the way up until last year when he dropped “NOKIA” with PARTYNEXTDOOR. Seventeen years of consistency is crazy, and we have two people doing it in their respective fields: LeBron, with 20-plus years, and Drake.

Over the past few months, there has been renewed interest in Drake’s Take Care (2011) and “One Dance.” The latter is his most-streamed track. Aside from a few tracks here and there on albums, most have over 100 million streams. Wow.

Drake is one of those people whose records will never be broken. There is a greater chance of Armageddon.
