Thundercat is preparing to release a brand new album called Distracted on April 3. While you can always expect beautiful music from him, it is just as intriguing to see who he collaborates with. For this album, it will reportedly feature A$AP Rocky, Tame Impala, Willow, Lil Yachty, and Mac Miller. Yesterday, we got a chance to hear the track featuring the latter, and it is smoother than Devin Booker’s shooting form.

The chemistry between Thundercat and Mac Miller on “She Knows Too Much” is outstanding. On the track, Mac slips between cool raps and smooth crooning as he talks about a woman who is obsessed with falling for someone with influence, while Thundercat slides in soulful ad-libs that bring life to the otherwise chill record. As for the production, it is exquisite, featuring the kind of timeless, funky, energetic vibe we have all come to expect from a Thundercat track.

You truly cannot find a talent like Mac Miller anymore. Elon, is there a way we can clone him? I’m asking for a friend.
