HUNTR/X’s EJAE, AUDREY NUNA & REI AMI Named Billboard’s 2026 Women of the Year

EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, and REI AMI are redefining what global pop success looks like.

Billboard has crowned HUNTR/X’s EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, and REI AMI as the 2026 Women of the Year, and the moment represents a massive milestone for global pop music.

The trio becomes the first K-pop act to win the award, as well as the first group to share the honor together. Their rise to the top was powered by the success of the K-pop Demon Hunters soundtrack.

The soundtrack produced one of the most dominant songs of 2025 with “Golden.” The record exploded across streaming platforms and has already passed one billion streams on Spotify, making it one of the most successful soundtrack songs in recent years.

But the success didn’t stop with one hit. The project also delivered other viral standouts, including “How It’s Done” and “What It Sounds Like,” both of which have surpassed 500 million streams.

Their Billboard recognition reflects a larger shift in the music industry as global artists continue to dominate streaming platforms and influence mainstream culture.
