Yeah… this one hurt.
Like, actually hurt.

Do they feel the same way? Or am I just convenient?

As a Michigan girl myself, I went into this EP excited — ready to support, ready to vibe.
What I did not expect was to be crying through almost every track.
And I’m not exaggerating.
MoMo has this way of pulling you in gently — her voice is soft, her delivery feels calm, almost comforting. And then before you even realize what’s happening, the lyrics hit… and suddenly you’re sitting there feeling everything.
This whole tracklist is emotional storytelling at its finest.
Sonically, it sits in this really interesting space. There’s country influence, but it blends with indie/alt elements and even touches of R&B. It doesn’t feel boxed in. It feels fluid — like the music is just there to support whatever emotion she’s trying to express.
And her voice? Beautiful. Light. Effortless. It floats, but the words cut.
That contrast is what makes the project so impactful.
Listening to Miss Michigan feels like going through a breakup you didn’t even have. Like, suddenly you need a blanket, some ice cream, and a sad movie just to process everything you just heard.
It’s painful… but in a way that makes you feel seen.
And honestly? As much as it hurt… I’ll absolutely be playing this again.
