Jhosy Keeps His Hot Streak Alive With “MALETA”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Jhosy turns heartbreak into a colorful summer anthem with “MALETA.”

Jhosy continues building serious momentum. The Colombian artist has been on a strong run over the last two years, turning heads with releases like “Flor de Lotto” and “LLUVIA.” With consistency, charisma, and a clear ear for catchy records, Jhosy now returns with another fresh single titled “MALETA.”

“MALETA” boasts a bouncy, vibrant island instrumental that feels tailor-made for summer playlists. As for Jhosy, he sounds excellent. He delivers infectious melodies while also showing range and genuine passion throughout the record. I personally love how his voice glides across the instrumental so naturally, particularly during the chorus, which I think is the track’s strongest part.

Lyrically, “MALETA” focuses on a relationship that is already over emotionally, even if both people remain trapped in the routine. They continue going through the motions while the truth sits in plain sight. That contrast gives the song more depth than its breezy sound first suggests.

All in all, this track features an instrumental perfect for the summer, a flawless chorus, and unbelievable melodies. Toss it on when you’re at the beach with someone you’re in a shaky relationship with. It just might patch things up.
