Sure, everyone knows Beanie Sigel, but there were other killers in the mix too, like Young Chris and Freeway, both of whom could rap their asses off. Years after that era had the streets jumping, Young Chris and Freeway have linked back up for a new single called “Too Strong.”

“Too Strong” features production from MadeinTYO that carries a soulful, celebratory sound while staying nicely stripped down. Young Chris sets the tone first, delivering a verse about grinding from the mud and barking his bars with force while still gliding over the beat. Freeway follows with an extra-gritty verse centered on putting belt to his opps and surviving the hood. He also raps with an urgency that makes it feel like he just survived a burning house.
