Noah Kahan reaches a new level with his biggest debut yet.
Noah Kahan has officially hit a new peak. His latest album The Great Divide debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with a massive 389,000 units moved in its first week. That total includes 215.37 million on-demand streams and an eye-popping 175,000 pure sales. It marks his first-ever No. 1 album and the biggest first-week U.S. streaming debut for any album this year, surpassing The Fall-Off.
For those unfamiliar, Kahan has quietly built one of the most loyal fanbases in music. The Vermont native made his name through emotional storytelling, folk-pop production, and lyrics that land like gut punches. He broke through with Stick Season, while songs like “Stick Season,” “Dial Drunk,” “Northern Attitude,” and “Everywhere, Everything” helped turn him into a streaming force.
Now, The Great Divide arrives as a 17-track statement piece, fueled by strong reactions to the title track and “Porch Light.” The buzz clearly translated.
What makes this run even crazier is how low-key he stays. No viral antics, no overexposure, just music that connects.
Turns out, quiet consistency can still shake the entire industry.
