Luh Tyler Keeps It Cool on “Stoner Music”

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

Tyler just remixed one of my favorite Wiz Khalifa songs of all time.

Is Luh Tyler about to go on a Lil Wayne-type run for the rest of the year? Honestly, I would not be surprised. His work ethic is starting to speak loudly. Quietly, under everyone’s booger-filled noses, he has been dropping a steady stream of singles, and yesterday he added another one to the pile with “Stoner Music.”

The track flips one of my favorite Wiz Khalifa records, “Roll Up,” but gives it a more laid-back feel. Tyler even tries to mirror parts of the original chorus, though his delivery comes across a little lifeless

As expected, Luh Tyler glides over the beat with an effortless flow, casually reminding listeners that nobody is touching him when it comes to money while also making it clear he stays higher than gas prices. Do I love the track? No. But it does remind you he’s cooler than all of us combined.
