Steve Lacy Announces ’Oh Yeah?’ and Releases “The Feeling”

Steve Lacy might be prepping for a summer takeover.

Steve Lacy is officially back in album mode. The Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and producer has announced that his new album, Oh Yeah?, will arrive on July 17. In a fun twist, the project will drop on the exact same day as Syd’s forthcoming album Beard, giving fans of The Internet plenty to celebrate.

His previous release, Gemini Rights, helped elevate Lacy from cult favorite to global star. The album showcased his genre-bending approach to music, combining R&B, funk, rock, and psychedelic influences while producing the chart-topping smash “Bad Habit.” The project was widely praised and ultimately earned him a Grammy Award.

As anticipation builds for the new album, Lacy has unveiled “The Feeling,” a fresh single that offers listeners their latest glimpse into his evolving sound. Given his track record and the long wait since Gemini Rights, it’s safe to say that a new Steve Lacy project feels more than welcome right now.
