HUGEL, Big Sean & Scott Storch Bring Club Energy to “Body Drop”

Rating: 4 out of 5.
HUGEL, Big Sean

I honestly did not see this collaboration coming, but somehow it works way better than I expected.

Body Drop sees HUGEL, Big Sean, and Scott Storch join forces for a track that feels tailor made for late nights, packed dance floors, and festival speakers. Big Sean kicks things off almost immediately, bringing a ton of energy to the record from the jump. His delivery is confident, fast paced, and relentless, helping build momentum before the production really starts to take off.

As the song progresses, the energy keeps climbing. HUGEL leans fully into his house and electronic roots, delivering huge beat drops and infectious rhythms that practically force you to move. Every time the track feels like it’s hit its peak, another drop comes crashing in and takes things up another level. It’s the kind of song that makes you understand exactly why dance music hits so hard in a live setting.

What surprised me most is how naturally Big Sean fits into the production. His flow rides the beat effortlessly, adding just enough hip hop swagger without taking away from the electronic foundation. Instead, the two styles complement each other perfectly, creating a track that feels equally at home in a nightclub, at a festival, or blasting through your car speakers.

The production is massive, polished, and impossible to ignore. Between Scott Storch’s influence, HUGEL’s club ready sound, and Sean’s undeniable charisma, the track never loses momentum.

Overall, Body Drop is pure energy. It’s loud, fun, and designed to make people move. I could absolutely see myself getting lost in this one on a dance floor somewhere. Sometimes a song doesn’t need to be deep. Sometimes it just needs to hit, and Body Drop definitely hits.
