Honestly? They weren’t wrong.

BROWN was already a strong project on its own, but the ten additional tracks featured on BROWN (The Chocolate Edition) genuinely enhance the overall experience. Rather than feeling like leftovers, these songs feel like a natural extension of the album’s themes and sound.

Throughout the project, Chris continues to blend classic R&B and hip-hop influences with silky production, smooth vocals, and emotionally charged songwriting. We get budding romances, complicated situationships, moments of self-reflection, and plenty of tracks built around attraction and desire.

What stands out most is the consistency. Even with ten extra songs, the deluxe edition never feels bloated or disconnected from the original album. Instead, it reinforces everything that made BROWN work in the first place.
