Quavo & Pharrell Keep You Guessing on “HAAVIN”

Rating: 4 out of 5.
Quavo, Pharrell

This track comes with a couple plot twists.

Quavo and Pharrell make a surprisingly great duo on “HAAVIN.” From the very beginning, the song feels like a funky, feel good club anthem, complete with infectious production and an easy groove that immediately pulls you in. Just when you think you’ve figured out where the track is headed, though, everything changes.

About 50 seconds in, the beat completely flips. The production gets heavier, the energy ramps up, and Quavo comes in swinging with one of the strongest moments on the track. It’s a switch up that catches you off guard in the best way possible and gives the song a completely different personality. Then, toward the end, the beat circles back to the original groove, tying everything together and making the whole experience feel surprisingly seamless.

Lyrically, “HAAVIN” is all about confidence. Quavo is flexing what he’s accomplished, what he’s carrying, and everything he’s built through his success. It’s a classic hip hop anthem centered around self assurance, ambition, and enjoying the rewards that come from putting in the work.

Pharrell’s production is easily one of the biggest highlights here. His signature funky style gives the song a unique flavor, while Quavo’s relaxed but charismatic flow keeps the momentum going through every beat switch. Together, they create a track that feels fresh, unpredictable, and incredibly memorable.

“HAAVIN” is the kind of song that keeps you on your toes. Between the production, the beat changes, and the chemistry between Quavo and Pharrell, it’s a track that stands out for all the right reasons.
