I hope this album hits for Trippie.

Trippie Redd is officially entering comeback mode. The rapper has announced his upcoming album NDA, which is set to arrive on August 14 with a massive 25 tracks.

This will mark Trippie Redd’s first album since 2023’s Saint Michael V2 and A Love Letter To You 5. For an artist who was dropping music at an extremely consistent pace for years, seeing him disappear for this long definitely caught people off guard. That said, Trippie’s life changed during that time, including reconnecting with Coi Leray and welcoming a child together.

So far, the early signs for NDA have been promising. “Paperbag” featuring Young Thug was a standout track that reminded fans of Trippie’s ability to blend his bold style with someone else’s. Meanwhile, his latest single “SWAGGER” features one of the hardest beats you’ll hear this year. Even the album artwork adds to the mystery, featuring a kid in a red shirt covered in chains standing alone in a dark room while staring directly into the camera.

Let’s be honest, Trippie Redd isn’t at the peak of his popularity right now. He has been somewhat forgotten in the conversation. However, at just 27 years old, with an undeniable amount of creativity and talent, there’s no reason he can’t put together a massive comeback. NDA could be the project that reminds everyone why Trippie was special in the first place.
