Benny The Butcher Sounds Untouchable on Harry Fraud-Produced “Summer ’26”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Benny The Butcher gives us a gritty recap of what he’s been up to these past few months.

Benny The Butcher is back with a new single called “Summer ’26,” and once again, he’s teamed up with one of his best collaborators, Harry Fraud, who’s been on an incredible run lately.

The production is absolutely beautiful. It has that classic hip-hop knock, but it’s layered with soulful, almost bluesy elements that give the record a stronger sense of urgency. Benny slides across the beat with his signature punchy delivery and effortless flow, dropping sharp bars about his future plans, thriving as one of rap’s biggest underdog success stories, and continuing to lap his opps. He even addresses the rumors surrounding Griselda, reminding listeners that s**t still isn’t sweet despite all the speculation.

As always, Benny’s summer series delivers the kind of lyrical showcase fans have come to expect. Harry Fraud gives him the perfect canvas, and Benny rewards him with another confident, focused performance that reminds everyone why he’s one of the best MCs in the game. In a lot of ways, “Summer ’26” feels like a recap of everything he’s battled through over the last few summers while making it clear he’s far from finished.
