Busta Rhymes is still ticking, folks. Today, he returned with a new single called “SPAZZZ,” and this dude clearly sounds like he hasn’t lost a step.
The very first thing that will catch your attention is the production. It has this energetic boom-bap sound that will have even No Neck Ed bobbing his head to the s**t.
As expected, Busta Rhymes goes absolutely crazy on the track, spitting with this animalistic style while reminding folks that he can kick ass in about 47 different ways. He also drops some hefty punchlines throughout the song, including somehow finding a way to rhyme Bokeem Woodbine, which is just ridiculous.
This is exactly the type of Busta performance I wanted. He’s loud as hell, animated, technically sharp, and sounds like he’s having a damn good time. Add in J Dilla’s phenomenal production, and you have a track that longtime hip-hop fans can definitely get behind.
