The official trailer for “Rolling Loud: The Movie” was released today.

It looks like Rolling Loud is officially about to hit the big screens. Today, a trailer for the movie hit social media.

Rolling Loud: The Movie, inspired by true events at the Rolling Loud festival, follows a father (Owen Wilson) who tries to bond with his teenage son by going to the festival. Unfortunately, the pair gets separated, leaving him to search for his son.

In addition to Wilson, the movie stars Matt Rife, Christine Ko, Sexyy Red, Ski Mask The Slump God, Ty Dolla $ign, Henry Winkler, Jolene, and Travis Scott.

This will be Scott’s second film this year, after his performance as a bard in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. This will be Wilson’s third movie of 2026, following Charlie the Wonderdog and Runner. He will also appear in Focker-in-Law, the next installment in the Meet the Parents series, later this year.

Fans are divided on the trailer and the movie in general. Some are looking forward to it, with Twitter user @Steez_47 saying, “Owen Wilson is only in classics, so I already know this Rolling Loud movie is about to be great.” However, others are more skeptical, such as @findinggmyway, asking, “Who asked for a Rolling Loud movie like actually[?]”

As for me, I won’t lie and say I’m a frequent visitor of the festival, but the movie does seem entertaining. Owen Wilson is hilarious, and I enjoyed the part of the trailer where he throws someone off a Ferris wheel. The film seems like a comedic yet poignant story about a father’s search for his son and his desire to build a connection with him.

Rolling Loud: The Movie is hitting theaters on October 2nd. You can watch the trailer below.
