Flo Milli is the female Lil Wayne.
Do you know what I love about Flo Milli? She genuinely seems like someone who enjoys rapping. That might sound like an obvious thing to say about a rapper, but you can tell when someone is doing it because they love it. With Flo, I get the feeling she could jump on almost any beat and just start going. That’s exactly what she does on “Too Bo$$y.”
The song is powered by Kelis’ “Bossy” beat, and frfr, that beat is so damn good that it immediately gives Flo something to work with. She takes advantage of it, delivering a cocky, unapologetic performance about wanting real men around her, enjoying the finer things, and being the kind of partner in crime you want beside you.
All in all, the track feels more like a glorified freestyle than a fully fleshed-out record. However, it accomplishes two important things: it gives you flashbacks to one of the best beats ever created and reminds you that Flo Milli can spit with the best of them.
